Kristy Zinna Announced She Has Filed The Necessary Paperwork To Become The Next Manatee County Court Judge, Group 4.

Kristy ZinnaToday, local attorney Kristy Zinna announced she has filed the necessary paperwork to become the next Manatee County Court Judge, Group 4. Zinna has an extensive legal background working as both an Assistant State Attorney and Assistant Public Defender for the 12th Judicial Circuit.

“I have spent countless hours in the courtroom and know how important it is to have judges with the temperament, patience, courtesy and impartiality to serve on the bench,” said Zinna. “My campaign for Manatee County Court Judge will focus on what it means to be a great judge – following the laws on the books, being fair and impartial, and always being courteous to attorneys and litigants. I am excited to bring these qualities and my experience to the people of Manatee County.”

A lifelong resident of Florida, Zinna earned her B.A. from the University of South Florida and her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 2008. She currently serves on the board of directors for Manatee County Tiger Bay and is a member of the Manatee County Bar Association, Florida Association of Women Lawyers (FAWL) and Supporters of Law Enforcement (S.O.L.E.). Zinna also served as vice president of the Manatee County Chapter of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (FACDL).
